  • Graduated under the tuition of Glenn Hunter (Expert Sport’s Physiotherapist and UK Sport’s Performance Development Consultant).
  • I am a full practising member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy & am fully registered with the Health & Care Professions Council.

 

Yoga Teacher Training Qualification (Yoga Alliance RYT 500 hours)

  • Taught one to one by Neel Kulkarni, who holds a grand parented E-RYT 500 designation from the ‘Yoga Alliance’ organisation. Neel was born into an Indian family with a strong history of Yoga and philosophy and has studied Yoga, philosophy, Sanskrit, health science and associated subjects for over 40 years with initial training on asanas received from world-renowned B.K.S Iyengar  (a childhood family friend of his). Neel has taught Yoga to all ages and abilities for over 35 years. Neel also founded SaeeTech, the Authentic Yoga School in 1998 and then registered Adhiyoga, his own Authentic Yoga System, in 1999 in the USA, alongside authoring and publishing several books and audio-visual material.
  • Training hours and content in line with the educational categories set by the ‘Yoga Alliance’ organisation.
  • Emphasis on my training was put towards Yoga therapy and Yoga for children (including special needs). As part of this, I was blessed to have been given the chance to teach Yoga at a number of indian schools (mainstream and special needs).
  • Since then I have successfully completed over 50 hours of Yoga Philosophy personal tuition with Neel alongside my independent study.

  • Certified with 256 hours at the Ayurveda Retreat Hospital while registered as a Yoga school with the Yoga Alliance organisation. Taught within a class of two other students by Dr S. Babu, Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences.

‘Traditional Thai Yoga Massage – 90 hours’ (in Association with the International Organization for Traditional Thai Yoga Massage)

completed in Chiang Mai, Thailand

  • Studied at the Sunshine Network – Traditional Thai Yoga Massage and Ayurvedic Body work.

 

‘Basic and Advanced Traditional Thai Massage – 66 hours’ (in Association with the International Organization for Traditional Thai Yoga Massage)

  •  Studied at the Ayurveda Retreat Hospital. Taught within a class of two other students by Dr K. Sibabalaji, Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine & Surgery and Master of Surgery in Ayurveda.
  • Syllabus included practical teaching on Abhyanga full body massage and teaching on the maintenance of optimum personal health through an appropriate daily routine and diet.
