Holistic Baby Yoga

I believe Yoga is one of the best things that a parent can do with their baby to encourage active participation in their new environment. It offers a multi-sensory approach to learning including a combination of massage, stretches and facilitated sequences of movements aimed at encouraging normal development. Working as a physiotherapist there is a strong emphasis on teaching appropriate handling and positioning throughout.

Songs and rhymes are an important part of baby Yoga allowing for relaxation, the development of anticipation for how long a sequence will last and they also encourage listening and attending skills.
